I have always loved taking photos from my first Kodak Instamatic I won in a raffle in first grade. I have kept many albums of my photos through the years.

In 2002, I started scrapbooking because I found myself forgetting some of the details. At that time, I was using a digital point and shoot camera which was easy to use while chasing my boys. When I decided to upgrade my camera to my current Olympus dSLR, I began to learn about photography and renewed my love of the art. My boys do not want a camera in their face all the time so I focus on still life, objects around the house and local scenes around Tampa Bay.

You can check out my blog for my photo of the day.

I think it’s great. If you have had your portfolio online already you may also start selling your photos to magazines, there several thousands in US alone. If you're keen and you don't mind sitting at the computer all day you can find all of those magazines in the Internet. Also, there are quite a few really good books and websites out there if you go looking. My suggestion is to check one of them – http://www.freelance-market.net – and try a couple magazines until you find out what does the job right for you. Of course there are others, the good sites will give you all the information you need to start that includes links, description, payments, etc... without the information overload.

GREAT images! I love that one of the old courthouse in Dade City. I lived there for 10 years back in the 70's. It brings back quite a flood of memories for me.

Your entire portfolio is awesome. I love your use of colors, layers and composition in creating these images. Very creative.
